Google Workspace APIs Usage

spreadsheet.ink does not use Google Workspace APIs to develop, improve, or train generalized AI and/or ML models. Our application processes data in real-time solely for providing personalized services within your spreadsheets. No data from Google Workspace APIs is retained or used for any machine learning or artificial intelligence model training purposes.

Third-Party AI Tools

While our service uses AI capabilities to enhance your spreadsheet experience, we do not transfer any Google Workspace API data to third-party AI tools for generalized or non-personalized AI/ML model training. Any AI processing is done in real-time for your specific use case only.

1. No Data Collection

spreadsheet.ink refered to as Smart Spreadsheets or Meal Planner is a Google Sheets application that operates entirely within your Google Workspace. We do not collect, store, or process any personal data.

2. Required Permissions

Our application requires the following specific Google permissions:

• spreadsheets.currentonly: We only need access to the spreadsheet you're actively using - we can't see any other files in your Google Drive
• script.external_request: This allows us to send your preferences to our AI service to generate personalized meal plans and recipes
• script.scriptapp: This basic permission lets our application run within Google Sheets to handle your meal planning requests

These are the minimum permissions needed for the meal planner to work. We're committed to being transparent about what each permission does and why it's necessary.

3. Data Processing

When you use our AI features, data is processed in real-time through our proxy service to generate meal plans and recipes. No data is stored during or after processing. All interactions remain within your spreadsheet.

4. Data Security & Ownership

Your data remains within your Google account's security framework. We cannot access your spreadsheets beyond the current sheet you're working on, and all data you create belongs to you.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page.
